WENDY L. WORNHAM, MD

Dr. Wendy Wornham graduated from Stanford University in 1976 with a major in Human Biology and from Harvard Medical School, cum laude, in 1981. She then did her internship in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital in Seattle and her pediatric residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. Between 1984 and 1986, Dr. Wornham pursued her interests in medical anthropology, public health and community medicine while living in Paris, France and Katmandu, Nepal. She then worked as a pediatrician in the neighborhood health centers in Cambridge and joined the faculty at Harvard Medical School before joining Lexington Pediatrics in 1989. Dr. Wornham is now an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and she continues to teach medical students and pediatric residents in the office in Lexington and at Children’s Hospital Boston. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society.

VICTORIA J. ARTHUR, MD

Dr. Victoria Arthur spent her early childhood in England before settling in the US at age 8. She received her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College with a B.A in Psychology and Religious Studies. She spent her junior year living in India where she studied religious healing practices and subsequently became interested in the field of medicine. Her undergraduate honors include graduating Magna Cum Laude, and membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Psi Chi. She graduated from University of Massachusetts Medical School, where she was a senior scholar in pediatrics and recipient of an NIH research grant at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Arthur joined Lexington Pediatrics in 2002 after completing her residency at Children's Hospital, Boston. She served as Medical Director at Lexington Pediatrics from 2012 through 2016 and is currently an Instructor in Pediatrics, part time, at Harvard Medical School. She believes in working closely with families to ensure the best possible care for their children. Dr. Arthur loves spending her time outside of the office with her husband, twin girls and son. Dr. Arthur is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics.

NÚRIA GINÉ-NOKES, MD, MPH

Dr. Nuria Giné-Nokes was born in Venezuela and spent the first several years of her life moving between Venezuela, Catalonia (Spain), and the US, before settling permanently in the US at age 11. She speaks English, Catalan, Spanish, and some French. She graduated from Dartmouth College with Honors in Biology, and received her MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her pediatric residency was completed at the University of Rochester. Following residency, Dr. Giné-Nokes completed a fellowship in General Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, where she performed research in pediatric oral health and concurrently received her Master’s in Public Health. Prior to joining Lexington Pediatrics in 2008, she spent five years in practice at a community health center in Jamaica Plain. Dr. Gine-Nokes is delighted to be the Medical Director at Lexington Pediatrics as of 2017. She is an Instructor in Pediatrics, part time, at Harvard Medical School and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, jewelry making, and traveling.

KATHARINE GARNETT, MD

Dr. Katharine Garnett attended Bates College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa society. After graduating from college, Dr. Garnett spent a year doing bench research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before matriculating at University of Vermont, College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree in 2002. Dr. Garnett completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts, in Worcester, and practiced pediatrics in the Worcester area before joining Lexington Pediatrics in 2009. Dr. Garnett is Board Certified, an Instructor in Pediatrics, at Harvard Medical School and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. When not in the office, Dr. Garnett enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

JESSE LOCK, MD, PHD

Dr. Jesse Lock graduated Cum Laude from Amherst College in 1997 and from Albany Medical College in 2002. He trained in Pediatrics at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR where he was awarded nine clinical service awards. Since completing residency, Dr. Lock has actively pursued his dual interests of Pediatrics and Engineering. He worked as an overnight hospitalist at Winchester Hospital from 2005-2011 and completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University. At BU he was the winner of the graduate student Golden Apple Teaching Award in 2007 and was the recipient of First Prize in the Boston University Graduate Engineering Entrepreneurial Design Competition in 2008. Dr. Lock joined Lexington Pediatrics in 2011 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Lock enjoys woodworking and computer programming.

BRONSON TERRY, MD

Dr. Bronson Terry graduated Cum Laude from Harvard in 1994 with a degree in biology. After college he spent several years as a high school biology teacher before enrolling at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his pediatric training at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon where he received multiple awards for outstanding patient care. Following his residency training, Dr. Terry spent seven years as a general pediatrician at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Connecticut, including two years as pediatric Medical Director. He joined Lexington Pediatrics in 2012. His particular interests include asthma and ADHD. Outside of the office Dr. Terry enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. He also loves animals, especially dogs and guinea pigs. Dr. Terry is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

JOHANNA MAILLOUX, MD

Dr. Johanna Mailloux grew up in Central Massachusetts and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Middlebury College in 2001 with a BA in Classical Studies. At Middlebury she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa as a junior. Dr. Mailloux graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester in 2005 before completing her residency in pediatrics at the University of Connecticut Pediatric Residency Program at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. She was chosen to serve as Chief Resident and spent her chief year focused on resident and medical student education and primary care. Following residency Dr. Mailloux spent five years in practice at a community health center in Holyoke, Massachusetts, before joining Lexington Pediatrics in 2014. She has particular interests in supporting new patients and breastfeeding moms as well as adolescent health care. Dr. Mailloux is Board Certified in Pediatrics, an Instructor in Pediatrics, part time, at Harvard Medical School, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. When not at work Dr. Mailloux enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, cooking and photography.

Jane Berman, PNP graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a B.S. in Nursing in 1978. She worked as a staff nurse at Boston City Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Emergency Room. She has also worked for the VNA in Somerville and at the Mt. Auburn Hospital as an Assistant Head Nurse in the Newborn Nursery. Jane received her M.S. in Nursing from Boston College in 1991 and began her career as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. She has been practicing at Lexington Pediatrics since 1997. She enjoys working with all age groups and their families and is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

KATHLEEN MANCHESTER, PNP

Kathleen Manchester, PNP began with Lexington Pediatrics in 1999 as a registered nurse. She graduated cum laude from Regis College in Weston, MA with a BS in nursing in 2001. A year later she received her MS in nursing from Regis. She began practicing as nurse practitioner at Dracut Pediatrics, and has been in practice as an NP at Lexington Pediatrics since 2003. She enjoys working with patients from all age groups and their families. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a fellow of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

JUSTIN SWEDER, MD

Dr. Sweder grew up in Lexington, MA and now lives in Arlington with his wife and two teenage children. Dr. Sweder received a B.A. in psychobiology from Yale and an M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and practiced pediatrics in the Bay Area, California for more than a decade. 

Dr. Sweder has a particular interest in developmental pediatrics and worked with children with autism and other special needs prior to attending medical school. Dr. Sweder also enjoys working with residents and in 2010 was awarded the House Staff Teaching Award by Children’s Hospital Oakland Residents for “unmatched dedication to resident education and excellence, and tireless enthusiasm.” Dr. Sweder speaks Spanish and knows a little American Sign Language. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Sweder enjoys sports (go Red Sox), travel, camping, strategy games, and spending time with his family, and is thrilled to be back in Lexington!

RAMEY HARRIS-TATAR, PNP

Ramey Harris-Tatar, PNP received a BS in Psychology from Washington and Lee University in 1998. She then received her BS in Nursing in 2004 and her MS in Nursing in 2005 from Regis College, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau and awarded the Nursing Faculty Award for Nursing Leadership. Before joining Lexington Pediatrics she practiced in Norwood, MA, taught in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Regis and worked on school health programming under the Department of Public Health School-Based Health Grant. Outside of the office Ramey enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, and dogs. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a fellow of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

SARAH ROBBINS, PNP

Sarah Robbins, PNP received a BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2005. After graduating she worked for MGH LADDERS and later Vanderbilt University Kennedy Center serving children with Autism and their families. She later earned her MS  in nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2012. Before joining Lexington Pediatrics in 2014, Sarah worked as an NP in Wellesley. She enjoys working with patients of all ages but has a special interest in children with developmental delays and their families. She is certified as a PNP by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. When not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog.

AMANDA ZIMINSKY, PNP

Amanda Ziminsky, PNP  received a BS in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in 2009. She later earned her BSN and MS in nursing from Regis College in 2012. Before joining Lexington Pediatrics in January of 2015, Amanda worked as an NP in Pittsfield, MA. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, young son, and dog. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a fellow of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

REBECCA BLAIR , PNP

Rebecca Blair, PNP, PMHS received a BA in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University in 2009, where she was inducted into the Psi Chi Honor Society. After a year with AmeriCorps VISTA in New York City, she continued her education at Columbia University where she received her BS of Nursing in 2011 and her MS of Nursing in 2014. She also was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau honor society. Before joining Lexington Pediatrics in 2018, Rebecca worked as a PNP at a pediatric primary care clinic in Burlington, NC. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young son. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, a Certified Pediatric Mental Health Specialist, and a fellow of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. 

AIMEE FOLGER, LICSW

Aimee Folger, LICSW, is a clinical social worker who is passionate about helping children and families in every environment. After graduating from Lexington High School, she received her B.A in psychology at Clark University and a Masters of Social Work at Wheelock College. Aimee completed her internships at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Waltham and The Walker Home in Needham. She started her career working at a community mental health agency providing family therapy, and has since focused on working with children and adolescents, specifically those coping with life changes and chronic medical illnesses. In her free time, Aimee enjoys spending time with her nephew, talking about Harry Potter, and visiting Cape Cod!

ANNA BAKAS, MD

Dr. Anna Bakas is a resident at Boston Children's Hospital Combined Residency Program.  She will be joining us on Monday and Thursday afternoons and will help care for our patients.  She will be supervised by our physicians as part of her residency training program.  Please help us extend Dr. Bakas a warm welcome and help us in our mission to teach the next generation of great physicians.
