Our History
Lexington Pediatrics is one of the oldest group pediatrics practices in the Boston area. Founded July 1, 1971 by Drs. Julian Pearlman, Martin "Keister" White, and Daniel Palant, our providers have been caring for generations of infants, children, and adolescents in the Lexington area. Over the years, as technology has advanced and various treatment modalities have developed, our commitment to a personal connection with each patient and family remains unchanged.
For decades we have had a close affiliation with Children's Hospital Boston. Indeed, Dr. Pearlman was instrumental in helping bring the Children's satellite facility to its current location to give our patients easier access to their specialists.
In addition, our practice has had a close association with Harvard Medical School and continues to serve as a Primary Care Clerkship site for students at the medical school and residents at Harvard affiliated institutions.
As we have grown and added pediatric nurse practitioners to our practice to expand access, we have remained active in the community -- with our physicians serving as advisors and medical directors for camps, athletic teams and other non-profit organizations.
This history of commitment to a personal connection with each patient and family is what grounds us and guides us in serving the medical needs of our current and future patients and families.
