Núria Giné-Nokes, MD, MPH
Núria Giné-Nokes was born in Venezuela and spent the first several years of her life moving between Venezuela, Catalonia (Spain), and the US, before settling permanently in the US at age 11. She speaks English, Catalan, Spanish, and some French.

Dr. Giné-Nokes graduated from Dartmouth College with Honors in Biology, and received her MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her pediatric residency was completed at the University of Rochester, where she focused particular attention on community pediatrics and parent education.

Following residency, Dr. Giné-Nokes completed a fellowship in General Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, where she performed research in pediatric oral health and concurrently received her Master’s in Public Health. Prior to joining Lexington Pediatrics, she spent five years in practice at a community health center in Jamaica Plain.

Dr. Giné-Nokes has particular interests in child development, parent education, and has enjoyed working with premature infants, having had two herself. She is a clinical instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

When not working, Dr. Giné-Nokes enjoys spending time with her husband and her two young children.
SPOTLIGHT

Dr. Gine-Nokes has a particular interest in developmental issues, especially as they relate to infants and young children. She enjoys working with parents of different cultures and backgrounds to increase understanding of this important stage of life.
